Goose on the Loose - Giblets Chainsaw Balboa Park Photo Shoot

(Above is our entry into the competition)

For a contest on the Balboa Park website to take a photo of your dog in the park and if you win your dog gets surfing lessons!! I took these photos of Giblets (Boston Terrier) on the hottest day ever which is why he actually has his tongue out in most the photos instead of looking so serious all the time! Passers-by commented on what a great model he was and were impressed he stayed when I planted him up on a ledge. He was not as willing to pose as it may seem however and we were both over being in the sun within 20 minutes or so which is why the last couple of photos are of Giblets chilling in the shade.

I didn't include the contest entry yet in case I am not supposed to post it online but it is very similar to the first one except with his mouth open.

Giblets - Beachcomber

Giblets is a tough little beast but when it comes to water he is very timid and reluctant to get wet. The above are some rare photos of him actually getting out into the water and chasing his orange float toy which more often than not gets fetched by me or my wife while Giblets stares off into the distance. Some of these photos were taken at Fiesta Island and Solana Dog Beach.

Cactus Goose (Giblets)

Giblets a.k.a The Goose, likes to chase squirrels. Only thing is that lately he has been chasing squirrels into cactus plants and today he finally went to far. As unhappy as he might look in these photos, he didn't seem to notice the spikes until we pulled them out one by one for about an hour!

Giblets Number 1 Fan Tribute...

Giblets has many friends both four-legged and human. Most recently he has befriended Eizaburo from my wife's lab. I took these photos on the trail that Eizaburo took Giblets on a few walks down so this post is dedicated to him. Hope you like these pics Eizaburo!
